Fallout: New Vegas - Lonesome Road Load
Description; Files 1. 1' where xx is the mod's spot in the load order. ===== Requirements: ===== Fallout New Vegas DLC - Lonesome Road.
To varify the game cache, right click on the game in your library, choose properties, then local files and varify the integrity of game cache. With New Vegas it will always say one file failed to load and will be reaquired. Let it run the check and when it's done re-boot your pc. If that doesn't fix it the first time, doing it again won't change anything. When changing world spaces to enter or leave any of the DLC's, there is a random bug that causes CTD when playing in hardcore mode.
If you are try switching to normal mode. If you use mods, turn off all graphic enhancement mods.
Nevada Skies first if you use it. Keep the mod info in mind incase you do at some point start using them.

For the Record this is no where near my first playthrough, and I did Many, Many of them each with lots, and lots of mods, and I got through ALL the DLC content before. This time I went in with a lot less mods. I am FULLY updated on everything. I barely crashed at all (a miracle I know) So I was very close to ending off the vanilla quests. Meaning most game content not including DLC's.

The only thing left to do was head to the Hoover Dam. So I started the DLC's. I started with Lonesome Road first. After I completed Lonesome Road and entered back in the Mojave My character Freezes (not the game MY Character) I can see a coyote walking about and I hear gunfire off in the distants. I can't do anything at all. I was hoping if I wait the camera will start circling around my character as it does when you idle to long might reset my character, but not even the idle happens.
I can't: Raise my pipboy to fast travel Move my mouse around to look Quicksave, console save, or menu save. Save is greyed out Using console and typing enableplayercontrols does nothing.
I even used coc Goodsprings in the console, and yeah it ports me to Goodsprings but again MY character is still frozen, I can't do none of the above in Goodsprings neither. I even tried tcl in console to no clip, and nothing happens. So I can't continue my playthrough at all with out going ALL THE WAY BACK BEFORE Lonesome Road on a earlier save. Does a fix even exsist for this bug? Am I the only one that ever came across this bug?
Google shows nothing so I assume I am the only 1% that has this bug. Edit: Nevada Skies seems to be the major culprit. Edit2: New information: It seems like the invisible trigger box that you get teleported into sometimes doesn't get enabled. Once you get stuck, try these console commands. Prid xx00c47b (xx is usually 04) enable. Original post Try CloseAllMenus You'll notice that you can't save while you are speaking to people, which is one of your listed symptoms. So It sounds like you've got stuck in a dialogue with an NPC that is in a different cell.
You may want to find out who that NPC is, and if possible teleport back to their location to continue the conversation, as using that command could potentially break something. If that wasn't the problem then try GetPlayerControlsDisabled That should give you a list of which control types, if any, are disabled. If any are disabled you can try EnablePlayerControls 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 (you can also disable a specific one with DisablePlayerControls 1 1 1 1 1 1 1). Silly question maybe, you do actually have the console enabled in the ini file, right? I've got a few more console commands for you to try. Firstly try 'movetoqt' (without the quotes) Still no luck with that then.
Once you are back in the wasteland type 'player.moveto 0x00C536' followed by 'player.moveto 0x00C47B' without the quotes and replacing x with the number that Lonesome Road is in your load order. It's normally 4.
And if you're still stuck then I've thrown together a plugin which should hopefully prevent the game script from disabling your controls at that point. Just ask if you want a link. I'll put my 2 cents in. A: Do you have any mods?
If so, did you turn the off and see if the problem goes away? B: Do you have an earlier save (like before you even entered the LR DLC) to see if the problem exists? (I had a similar 'issue' with LR and found it was a mod that 'overloaded' my saved game. I dumped the mod - went back to a prior saved game.
Yes I had to 'redo the DLC' and had NO issues after that.) So check your mod. Also - if there is a chance you are using a Hand Controller.
I might recommend - as I followed my own advice here. Loose the HC. I found it to be 'hit/miss' problematic and also realized a whole lot of OPTIONS for the game are lost w/the HC, like for example: VATS - ZOOM and such. Also some dialogs were 'jumpy' w/the controller. Yes, it works fine, I play SKYRIM with it and have zero issues. So it's not the controller. I think basically HC 'cut off' a lot of the FO NV game features that, that was the reason I wondered if it could be 'hit/miss' problems.

Seems to be, at least in my case. Hey JDC UK, would you mind terribly re-uploading that plugin for me.
I'm in exactly the same situation as Quickswitch was: ended Lonesome Road, and am frozen after the ending dialogs are done. I have noticed that the last quest, 04003615 - The End is not set to the end stage: The End shows as running, and Stage 30 as being active. Using the setstage to force it to 100 triggers the text message and rewarding me with a SPECIAL point and Brotherhood and Followers fame, but it still leaves me immobilized.
I even waited 72 hours in Ulysse's Temple after defeating the Marked Men, but before having ED-E disable the nuke launch. I can also draw and fire weapons (though not see anything) with free camera enabled. Using enableplayercontrols, with or with out the '1 1 1 1 1 1 1' switch re-enables the HUD, and the game engine says all my controls are enabled, but I'm still frozen, and unable to save. I used closeallmenus and all the other suggestions in this thread, to no avail. I can still toggle the Recon Gear items (TAC, night vision, can switch holstered weapons, grenade types, etc), and I do fall a couple of feet to the ground, but may as well be a statue otherwise. And yes, I have a.bleep.-ton of mods: Gopher's Advanced Recon gear, Project Nevada, A World Of Pain, YUP, NVAC, NV Bounties 1/2/The Inheritance, Angel Park, UHNV, Millenia's and Apocalypse Girl's weapons packs, The Legacy Of X-13 stealth armor mod being notables I.REALLY.
would prefer not to have to resort to brute forcing it by disabling all non-vanilla content and re-enabling one at a time, since everything has been playing nicely together up until now. I've already run through the other vanilla DLCs, Honest Heart, then OWB, then Dead Money, and Lonesome Road last.
